The salary range is $100,000 - $140,000. This role is remote, but is ideally based out of Houston, TX, Alabama, Louisiana, or the Midwest.
The Technical Sales Account Manager will serve to help our domestic and international industrial distribution and fabrication customers grow in the low temperature pipe and mechanical insulation market by promoting our Polyisocyanurate (PIR) and Polyurethane (PUR) insulation products, while also leading field sales efforts for launching new products that will expand our offering in this market segment. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this essential sales team member will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, identifying key insights to inform growth strategies, and effectively closing on profitable opportunities. The successful candidate will excel in building targeted relationships based on trust, identifying value-based solutions, and creating a pipeline of new business opportunities. Key strategic deliverables include fostering cross-functional relationships across the organization, leading by influence to enrol internal & external resources, and developing an executable territory plan.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferably Engineering degree) from an accredited university plus at least 5-7 years of outside business-to-business (B2B) technical sales experience with industrial insulation products and systems; OR high school diploma or GED plus 6-8 years of relevant industry experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales with industrial insulation products.

Travel: Travel will vary, but will be approximately 50% between meeting with customers, attending industry events, visiting plants, and attending intercompany meetings.
Language Skills: Capable of reading and interpreting documents, including operating instructions and procedure manuals. Proficient in writing complex reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to forecast accurately.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in non-standardized situations.
Certificate/License: Valid driver’s license with record clean enough to be acceptable to our insurance carrier.
